“The Fat Lady” Suzuki GSXR 1216cc
|

The brief for this Suzuki GSXR 1100cc bike was to reproduce some images from the Batman series of films, in particular Jim Carey in his role as the Riddler and to incorporate the slogans from the film “Tell the fat Lady she is on in five” and “Was that over the top I can never tell”.

The Orange basecoat which is often mistaken for yellow was inspired by a well known V-Max that was doing various streetfighter drag race rounds, we had to find a way to incorporate artwork and slogans without taking away from the overall color scheme, the art had to be small and the slogans subtle.

We had the idea to use question marks as a border for the portraits and color change basecoats for the text. Eventually this bike was featured in Streetfighter Magazine in the UK, the white front mudguard due to the painted example getting broken whilst fitted… not by us!
