Custom Painted Predator Helmet

We have just completed a helmet for Sandy Nicholas who now has a second race helmet to match the corporate design we did previously.

The brief for this helmet was pretty sketchy, we had psychedelic, teeth,
sponsors and a color scheme. So we came up with the idea to do a predator
design helmet, it suits Sandy’s racing style. Although we have done many
variations of predators and aliens on Simpson RX helmets we have never done
this type of design on a race helmet. It is important that a race helmet is
very visible so that when a pit crew is trying to spot their driver the
helmet stands out, detail spells loss of color and that means the helmet
will blend into the background and become less distinctive.

The color scheme is a pearl white base, straight fire red, red pearl and
blue pearl on both the Thai and Norweigan flags. A bundle of colors in the
predator and a nice section of Japanese black, a neon green with a forest
green fade tops it off and some high flek silver pinstripes finish the job.
